4321-MARKET: Milan
“4321-MARKET: SWISS–KOREA SOUVENIR SHOP” is a Christmas charity event with 20 designers supported by the Embassy of Switzerland in Seoul. The project is to celebrate the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and Switzerland. The theme of the project is “blooming friendship between Switzerland and Korea”.
For this project, 20 designers designed souvenirs to represent Switzerland and Korea. 11 Swiss-based designers designed Korean souvenirs and 9 Korea-based designers designed Swiss souvenirs. Souvenirs are the objects to memorize your joyful moment of the trip. The final result of the project is a series of products that have a vast range. Here is the list of the items: cowbell, vase, wine cooler, socks, tray, finger puppets, wooden toy, slippers, paper weight, chopsticks, postcards, rulers, year calendar, and candle holder.
The project was shown at the House of Switzerland during Milan design week 2024.
